This post is intended for the rangers, restoration workers, potential researchers, and others who may be interested is seeing the pre- and post- broom removal condition of these prairie patches in detail. Not so many human interest or flower photos here; this is about making a thorough, detailed record of change over time in response to different broom management strategies. Which requires good, accurate “before” photos, pegged to known locations. Dry stuff in the inception, but invaluable for gaining a better understanding of how best to recover these habitats. More flower posts soon, though!!
